Their roster had 11 new faces for Friday’s season opener against the Windsor Spitfires at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

“Combine that with two new assistant coaches and a new equipment manager, a new athletic therapist, new ownership, new players,” general manager Dylan Seca said. “Lots of new. We were excited about that, trust me. That was by design, to a degree.”

The makeover was led by new majority owners Ryan Finch and Mark Guy. They bought the club in June from David Legwand, who remains part of the ownership group.
