Last week, the City Council passed a bill creating an outreach campaign to inform parents about their rights to receive information and performance reports on their child's day care.

The legislation comes two years after the death of one-year-old Nicholas Feliz Dominici, who died after exposure to fentanyl at a daycare center in the Bronx.

The owner of the daycare and her husband were both sentenced to 45 years in prison. The law aims to prevent future tragedies and honor Nicholas' memory.

Bronx City Councilmember Pierina Ana Sanchez joined "the Rush Hour" on Friday to discuss what parents can expect to see.
