BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. — For 138 years, one small-town newspaper in Bradford County has stood the test of time — and one family’s name has been on the byline for five generations.
The Rocket-Courier first rolled off the presses in Wyalusing in 1887. Just seven years later, in 1894, David Keeler’s great-great-grandfather took ownership. Since then, the Keeler family has guided the paper through five generations, covering the milestones and challenges of their community.
“I had printer's ink in my blood, as they say,” said David Keeler. “Actually, my dad got ill and I said I’d come back here and run the paper until he got better.”
