LOUISVILLE, Ky. — According to Washington Monthly, Louisville’s Bellarmine University was honored as one of the top 75 service-focused universities in the U.S.

Liz Todd Byron, Bellarmine University executive director of experiential learning and community engagement, said to be named in the nation's top 75 for service is a testament to the university's mission.

“The line that stands out the most in the Bellarmine mission to me is service to improve the human condition, and I think every day inside the classroom and outside of the classroom, we're living that out,” Byron said.

“We're not just a campus on a hill, but rather we are ingrained in the city of Louisville. This is our community."
