CORNING, N.Y. (WETM)--- A group of ten students from Italy arrived in Corning on Friday, September 19, through the Corning Sisters Program.

The Corning Sister Program allows students and adults to travel to different countries and experience what it's like.

The program is an exchange that allows students to travel around the world and stay with a host family. They will be attending classes at Corning Painted Post High School for ten days.

For many of the students, this is their first time being in the United States.

"This is my first time, I am very excited to visit, it's a very different country from Europe," said Tatiana Bianchini, Sister City Student.

The students say that they have already noticed some differences between Italy and the United States.
