WARREN COUNTY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is making safety changes after a truck rollover on Interstate 70 Thursday marked the third rollover this week at the same spot.
Jonathan Montgomery’s tractor trailer rolled over near the Stracks Church Overpass, where MoDOT crews have been working and lined the highway with concrete barriers.
Drivers complained about the narrow lanes and an S-curve in the area. In response, MoDOT on Friday shifted the barriers to give drivers an additional two feet of space and repainted lane markings.
The speed limit between Warrenton and Wentzville will also be lowered to 55 mph.
