HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) — Two men were arrested in Huntersville on Wednesday following a narcotics investigation.
Records showed the suspects, 22-year-olds Carlos Clark and Christopher Clark, are being held at the Mecklenburg County Detention Center.
They were taken into custody on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Gladwick Court with the help of several agencies, including SWAT.
Mother speaks out on overdose deaths
In light of the Clark’s arrests, Tamara Ellestade, a local mother, is speaking out after her 14-year-old daughter died from an overdose. She wants the community to stop the sale and use of drugs.
“Yeah, you know, I think it’s just so important that kids need to understand how dangerous the drugs are now, Ellestade said.
Ellestade’s daughter, Olivia Moloney, died from an overdose.
