Authorities say one person is dead following a two-vehicle wreck that happened in Decatur Friday afternoon.

Decatur Police say the wreck happened shortly after 3 p.m. on the 2300 block of Beltline Road.

North and southbound traffic was down to one lane in each direction. Police asked drivers to use extra caution when driving through the area.
