SALISBURY — Abdul Eliwa scored three goals, as Salisbury beat Carson 5-3 in South Piedmont Conference action on Thursday,

The Hornets (8-0-3, 4-0) also got goals from Kevin Reyes and Ray Moscoso.

Salisbury led 2-0 after 15 minutes. Carson (5-4, 2-2) came back to 2-all. Reyes scored on a free kick in the 36th minute to put the Hornets ahead 3-2 at the half.

Eliwa scored twice in the second half as the Hornets stayed in control.
