NEW YORK (PIX11) – First Deputy Mayor Randy Mastro discusses the Mayor's Management Report, which highlights positive public safety numbers, a decrease in crime, and an increase in affordable housing.

"The city is on the rise under Mayor Adams," said Mastro.

When asked about Mayor Adams' recent comment to re-evaluate the New York City School bathroom policy, Mastro denies it was due to a letter, reportedly sent to Adams from the Trump Administration, threatening to remove millions of dollars in funding if the policy was not changed.

Regarding the accusations that City Officials failed to appear at two major hearings this week, Mastro denies these claims, saying written testimony was provided, and for Thursday's hearing on a Bronx housing project, a deputy mayor was present to testify.
