ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - More than two dozen people rallied on the sidewalk Friday outside the ICE field office in Atlanta.

“You can’t stop the revolution; abolishing ICE is the solution,” rallygoers chanted. “No justice, no peace.”

Some held signs, others wore t-shirts calling for the immediate release of Rodney Taylor.

“Say his name, Rodney Taylor,” they chanted.

Taylor is in ICE custody at the Stewart Detention Center more than two hours southwest of Atlanta in Lumpkin, Georgia. He was picked up by agents in January due to a 30-year-old burglary charge that was pardoned by the state.

“He was doing everything that the government was asking of him, and they took him from his family. Those are facts!” A rallygoer said.
