FORT APACHE RESERVATION, AZ (AZFamily) — Arizona state troopers confirmed two people were killed in a fiery crash on a highway about 13 miles southwest of Show Low on Friday.

Details are limited but the Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed the wreck involved a pickup truck and a sedan near the Corduroy Bridge Rest Area. Traffic records showed the crash was reported just before 3 p.m.

U.S. 60 is closed to westbound traffic beginning at Rim Road.

At this time, it’s unclear when the highway could reopen.

No other details were immediately available.
