MARSHALL, Texas — Multiple people have been arrested after a riot took place at Marshall's City Park last weekend.

The incident, which left two juveniles injured, took place on Sunday, Sept. 14.

According to a Marshall Police Department (MPD) news release, "MPD patrol officers responded to a large disturbance after receiving calls for police response at City Park. The fighting began between two juveniles and escalated when a large group of adults also became involved."

The news release said the disturbance got to a point where it was "obstructing emergency and medical access to surrounding roads near City Park and a local medical facility."

The following individuals have been arrested and charged with riot participation:

• Shameka Shonetay Randle, 45, Marshall

• Khirgan Jani Cameron,
