MARSHALL, Texas (KETK) -- Seven people were arrested last weekend after a fight between two minors escalated to a large group brawl, the Marshall Police Department said on Friday.

On Sept. 14 around 8:34 p.m., Marshall Police officers responded to calls regarding a large disturbance at City Park on Valleloma Street. According to the department, a fight broke out between two minors and multiple adults chimed in, causing a larger disturbance.

Once officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that emergency and medical access was being obstructed on the surrounding roads near City Park. Two minors were injured during the incident and the following people were arrested on riot participation charges and had a bond set at $50,000: • Shameka Shonetay Randle, 45 • Khirgan Jani Cameron, 18
