SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police made an arrest after the ABC affiliate television station in Sacramento was struck by gunfire on Friday.

Police responded to reports of shots fired at KXTV's station around 1:30 p.m. At least three bullets struck a window, police said. Nobody was hurt.

Early Saturday, police announced that officers arrested Anibal Hernandezsantana at a home in Sacramento after identifying the vehicle used in the shooting.

Police said the motive is unclear.

Hernandezsantana was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm, police said.

KXTV, which broadcasts news as ABC10, is owned and operated by TEGNA, the parent company of this station.
