Nurses and staff at Temple University Hospital have voted to authorize a strike just days before their current contract expires.

A vast majority, 98%, of the members of the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals (PASNAP) voted on Sept. 19 to call for a joint strike.

This vote comes 11 days before their contracts with Temple University Health expire on Sept. 30.
