On the eve of their season opener, the Canucks announce the appointment of a medallist from the 2018 Olympics as their head coach.

Robinson brings a wealth of hockey knowledge and leadership experience to the Alberta Junior Hockey League role. A former professional defenceman, he represented Canada — including at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, where he helped secure a bronze medal, and again at the 2022 Games in Beijing.
