WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – A man was hospitalized after a house fire in south Wichita on Friday evening, officials say.

Crews with the Wichita Fire Department were called to the area of the 5500 block of South Malpaso Street around 6:45 p.m. on Friday to the report of a house fire.
