SOUTHLAKE, Texas — Six people were injured Friday evening after a car drove into a Southlake restaurant on East Southlake Boulevard, police said.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at Duff's Famous Wings. Southlake police said three people suffered minor injuries while two others were seriously hurt, though their injuries are not considered life-threatening, and one person was treated at the scene and released.

Emergency crews transported three of the injured to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Grapevine. The other two were taken to Methodist Southlake Medical Center.

Investigators said the cause of the crash remains under investigation, but noted that "impairment does not appear to be a factor." The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with authorities, Southlake DPS said.
