LEWISTON, Maine — Lewiston police are looking for a suspect after a reported shooting Thursday night on Pierce Street.

Officers were called to the area of 144 Pierce St. around 11 p.m., according to a social media post from police. Upon arriving, officers found two vehicles and an apartment building had been struck by bullets. There were no reported injuries.

Witnesses told officers the suspect had been firing at another person, who also fled before police arrived, the post said.

Officers determined the suspect is a young male who fled to 158 Blake St.

The Maine State Police Tactical Team arrived to execute a high-risk search warrant Friday at Blake Street, where they reportedly found evidence. However, the suspect is at large, according to police.
