WALLINGFORD, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Vermont State Police said Friday that a man's location is unknown after he refused to leave a wooded slope in the eastern part of Wallingford.

State Troopers responded to reports of an incident on Nash Drive Friday and, according to police investigation, Rodney Davis, 62, of Wallingford, caused serious injuries to someone in his family or household.

Police made efforts to locate Davis and found that he had a gun and was on foot in the woods to the east of Nash Drive.

Police say they were able to contact him over the phone, but that he said he refused to leave the woods and cooperate with police. The call then ended, and police believe Davis's phone lost power.

Davis is described as about 5'11", 185 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. It is not known
