The Liberal/Bronaugh Bulldogs (3-1) entered Friday night's game against the New Heights Cougars (1-3) having played three straight one-possession games. That was not the case Friday night at Fred G. Hughes Stadium as the Bulldogs cruised to a 60-8 win over the Cougars.

Liberal got on the board at the 8:57 mark when Elam Beaman dove into the end zone just inside the right pylon after an 18-yard run. The two-point conversion failed and Liberal was ahead 6-0. ×
