A rivalry high school football game between Detroit Cass Tech and Detroit Martin Luther King was suspended on Friday night due to reports of unruly fan behavior in or near the stadium.
The Cass Tech Football page on Facebook posted on Friday night limited details, but mentioned the game will be resumed on Saturday without fans. The game was played at Martin Luther King Jr. High School, but a different and undisclosed location will be used on Saturday.
"With 5:58 seconds left in the 3rd Quarter the game was suspended with us leading 20 - 0 vs. MLK,” the post read. “Game will be resumed tomorrow at 2pm without spectators at another location."
