FISHERS, Ind. — The fifth-ranked Westfield Shamrocks held off the seventh-ranked Hamilton Southeastern Royals to score a 21-17 victory following a back-and-forth thriller on Friday night.

Westfield entered the game after winning their last two games and only allowing ten total points against both Zionsville and Noblesville. Additionally, prior to the game the Shamrocks were also in a tie for first place in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference with Fishers and top-ranked Brownsburg.

Meanwhile, the Royals were looking to rebound after losing their second straight Mudsock rivalry game last week and dropping two spots in the AP poll.
