NEW PALESTINE, Ind. — In a battle of two undefeated rivals, the Class 5A No. 1 New Palestine Dragons held the Class 4A No. 6 Pendleton Heights Arabians to just six total points and took over the top spot in the Hoosier Heritage Conference on Friday night.
From the beginning of the game it appeared as though the Dragons would be the team to beat as they scored quickly just after kickoff. Senior running back Caden Jacobia got things going about three minutes into the game with a 23-yard rushing touchdown.
After taking over again on offense, the Dragons once again marched down the field and finished their drive with a 3-yard touchdown run from Jacobia to put New Palestine up 14-0 midway through the opening quarter.
