HARTFORD, Conn. — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity is on the rise in Connecticut , according to the Connecticut Data Collaborative, or CTData.

The Hartford-based nonprofit provides data to support informed decisions across the state. It released a report Friday evening listing a variety of statistics related to ICE arrests and deportations in Connecticut.

CTData revealed that ICE arrests have been made in at least 32 Connecticut communities this year, with the most occurring in Hartford.

From January through July, there were reportedly 405 arrests made by ICE in the state. In all of 2024, there were 247 ICE arrests made.

Deportations have increased as well, CTData says. There were 142 in all of 2024, while from January through July of 2025, there were 164 removals.
