CLEVELAND, Ohio — Pitchers Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz, according to several reports, are training to play winter ball for Estrellas in their native Dominican Republic.

MLB reached an agreement with the MLB Players Association to put Cleveland’s two pitchers on non-disciplinary leave “until further notice” on Aug. 31, while they are being investigated for gambling allegations.
