Car crash, failure to control, temporary learner’s permit with no licensed driver: Solon Road

Police responded to a one-car accident partially blocking the roadway near Cannon Road at 6:44 a.m. Sept. 17 and found the driver, a Cleveland man, 46, uninjured.

He appeared to have spun out and crossed over the left side of the road, with the rear of the 2011 Hyundai striking a culvert.

The driver said he was heading westbound when a deer ran out into the roadway, causing him to swerve and lose control.

Police also cited him for having only a temporary learner’s permit but no licensed driver in the car with him, with the car towed from the scene.
