Among the running backs that Mount Olive returned this season, it was pretty clear who the two lead backs would be. There’s senior Brayden Longo, a powerful and explosive talent who came into Friday night’s game with 213 yards and five touchdowns under his belt. There’s also fellow senior Raynell Derrick, who’s quick around the edge, and was averaging nearly five yards a carry this season.

Those two scored the first two touchdowns of the night for Mount Olive. Longo was well on his way to posting his best game of the season after returning a punt 53 yards for a touchdown less than two minutes into the third quarter.
