MERRILLVILLE — Yahtzee! meant redemption for Andrean sophomore Tyler Vo.
Vo, Andrean’s leading receiver, made an uncharacteristic fumble early in the second quarter against Hobart to put an end to what had the makings of a scoring drive. That ate at him.
“I felt so down on myself,” Vo said. “I just kept saying I need a touchdown to get me back up.”
He got it.
Up 10 to start the second half, Andrean immediately backed itself up twice with penalties despite starting at midfield. The 59ers began slinging the ball, first making up six yards and then 15. Vo then hauled one in for six to get an unlikely first down.
