A new Indian restaurant will be opening in Nuneaton town centre. In revealing the new venture in Abbey Street, its owner Manjit Kanwal has told CoventryLive it is a 'dream come true'.

He is opening what is his first venture in the two council owned units on Abbey Street and the local family cannot wait. We reported that the lease had been signed on the two former shops, which form part of the ground floor of what was the old Co-op Arcade, and now it has been revealed that it will become a restaurant.

But the venture will not be your average Indian restaurant. Keen to keep the name under wraps for now, a family member explained: "It is an Indian restaurant and bar with a creative cocktail menu."
