Birmingham will continue to be without Keshi Anderson and Willum Willumsson when they make the short trip to Coventry City on Saturday (12:30pm) - two of four players who will miss the big Midlands derby at the CBS Arena.
Winger Anderson, 30, and 26-year-old attacking midfielder Willumsson have missed Blues’ last two matches and aren’t expected to return until after the October international break according to manager Chris Davies.
“Those two look like they will be unavailable until the next international break,” Davies said after the defeat to Stoke (September 13).
That means they will miss further Championship matches against Coventry , Sheffield Wednesday and Wrexham.
Elsewhere, Blues have two long-term absentees in left-back Lee Buchanan, who is eight months into his recovery
