Anthony Dixon rushed for two touchdowns to lead the South Oldham High School football team to a 14-11 victory over visiting Oldham County on Friday.

Dixon scored on a 61-yard run in the first quarter, and his 5-yard touchdown run gave the Dragons (4-1) a 14-3 lead with 7:40 remaining.

Oldham County (3-2) pulled within 14-11 with 2:30 remaining on Nash Meredith’s 1-yard touchdown run and Derek Dees’ 2-point conversion pass to Jayden Corum.

Oldham County blocked a punt and got the ball at South Oldham’s 37-yard line with three seconds left, but Dees’ Hail Mary pass on the final play was incomplete.
