Major supermarkets are already in the festive spirit, releasing Christmas products and menus early to help shoppers get a head start. Marks and Spencer have introduced Christmas chocolate tubs that customers claim are "better than Quality Street", and they're cheaper than the iconic festive chocolates too.

M&S's Big Mix Tin is on offer for £12, and it's proving to be a hit with customers. Quality Street has been a beloved part of British Christmases since 1936. However, recent changes to the brightly wrapped sweets' packaging have left fans divided.

In 2025, Quality Street's famous purple tubs and Celebrations shrank yet again, meaning fewer Christmas sweets than the previous year. For the second year running, the sturdy tins and plastic tubs were swapped out for paper versions.
