BERKLEY – The Ferndale Eagles came from behind in the fourth quarter and got takeaways from there to defeat the Berkley Bears 26-14 in a key Oakland Activities Association Gold Division game Friday night.

The Eagles trailed 14-12 when they got the ball back with 16 seconds to play in the third quarter. Ferndale then marched 72 yards in nine plays, capped by a 16-yard run from quarterback Tre Bynum to take the lead. The 2-point conversion was good, and the Eagles led 20-14 with 6:20 to play. Bynum did most of the work on the drive, running or passing for a combined 55 yards on the drive.
