SUNBURY, Ohio — Big Walnut’s fourth consecutive win of the season came behind quarterback Eli Stumpf, who scored every touchdown of the night for the Golden Eagles.
He found the end zone once in each quarter.
The most impressive of the bunch came during a 97-yard drive. Stumpf connected twice in a row with senior wide receiver Brody Hatfield, moving the Golden Eagles to the 29-yard line.
That’s when he hit senior wide receiver Dallas Biehl for a 71-yard touchdown with 5:24 left in the second quarter. After Westerville South jumped offside on the PAT, Big Walnut capitalized and converted a two-point attempt to take a 15–7 lead.
