Wadsworth 39, Twinsburg 0: Grizzlies defense steps up in win
The Grizzlies (5-0, 2-0) are 10 for 10 against the Tigers (4-1, 1-1) in the Suburban League National Conference all-time series with a lopsided win Sept. 19 . It was the fifth consecutive week Wadsworth played with a running clock.
Grizzlies quarterback Brysen Hall was 9-of-23 passing for 208 yards, including three completions of 37 yards or more yards, with touchdown passes to Calix Lemp (four catches, 79 yards), Luke Maddox and Jay’len King. Lemp added a 99-yard pick six in the fourth quarter. Cooper Gray led the rushing attack with 103 yards on 12 carries with a score, and Gavin Madigan has seven carries for 43 yards with a touchdown.
