LA HABRA — Sunny Hills set a goal of scoring on every possession. The Lancers nearly did it.

The Lancers scored on five of their six possessions, with George Shelledy setting the pace, in a 34-20 victory over Sonora in a nonleague game Friday.

Shelledy rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns.

Quarterback Mikael Khan threw for one touchdown and ran for another for the Lancers (4-1).

“We definitely should have scored on every single possession in this game,” Shelledy said. “We just made a little bit of mistakes on offense that we need to clean up before our next game.”
