Srinagar|Sept, 20 : The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) is conducting searches at multiple locations across the Valley in connection with a terror-related case.

An official said searches were being conducted at eight locations spread across seven districts — Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag, Kupwara, Handwara, Pulwama and Shopian. “He said the search operation was launched in pursuance of a search warrant obtained from the competent court in 2003 FIR registered at Police Station CIK,” the official added.

The case pertains to the misuse of social media platforms by certain entities and individuals who are allegedly involved in glorifying terrorists and terror organisations, besides running a terror module online.“Further details will be shared as the searches progress,” the official said.
