The University of Charleston and West Virginia State’s football teams are back in the market for wins on Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets were idle last week, while the Golden Eagles dropped a 28-24 decision in nonleague action at West Alabama.
Both are back at it Saturday on the first day of Mountain East Conference action. Charleston entertains Concord, and WVSU travels to West Virginia Wesleyan.

The Mountain Lions (1-1) were off last week, while the Golden Eagles (1-2) came up short on the road in a nationally ranked showdown.
Charleston carries a two-game losing streak into Saturday, having fallen to California (Pennsylvania) by four points a week before the same result and margin against West Alabama.
