WATERTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Watertown police are urging people to stay inside their homes Saturday morning due to an active investigation.

Just after 5:30 a.m., police said Prospect Street near Colonial Street will be closed for an unknown period of time.

Officials have not shared details about the investigation, but say residents in the area must stay in their homes.
