DARTMOUTH, Mass. —

Two people died after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 195 in Dartmouth early Saturday, according to Massachusetts State Police.

The crash occurred shortly before 1:20 a.m. on the westbound side at mile marker 19.8, and both occupants of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries, the department said.

All westbound lanes were closed for the investigation at Exit 22 as traffic was diverted to Faunce Corner Road, and the highway reopened at approximately 5:20 a.m., state police said.
