MOORESVILLE—In a tightly contested nonconference game Friday night, Reagan (4-1) prevailed over Lake Norman (3-2) 24-21.

Trailing with two minutes to go, Lake Norman, led by sophomore quarterback Kaden Craft, marched down the field before facing fourth and 9 from the Reagan 20-yard line with 30 seconds left.

The Wildcats elected to run the clock down to two seconds and attempt to tie the game with a 37-yard field goal. But Reagan’s special teams made one of its two big plays of the night, with Seven Glover blocking the field goal from the edge as time expired, ending the game and giving the Raiders the win.
