The NASCAR playoffs continue in New Hampshire this weekend, and heavy traffic is expected as temporary ramp and lane closures will impact drivers on several interstates.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation said over 42,000 spectators and 15,000 vehicles are expected to attend the NASCAR Cup Series Race at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon. The race starts at 2 p.m. Sunday, with maximum traffic congestion expected to occur in the late afternoon and evening hours, however additional racing and NASCAR practice on Saturday will impact traffic volumes and lane controls to start the weekend, as well.
