LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Haifa Smoked Fish, Inc. has recalled two different smoked fish products over listeria contamination concerns.
An alert from the Michigan Department of Agriculture highlighted the voluntary recall notice from the federal Food and Drug Administration released Sept. 17. • Haifa “COLD SMOKED SALMON” 8 OZ., LOT # 219 and “COLD SMOKED SEABASS” 8 OZ., LOT # 212 were distributed nationwide through direct delivery to retails stores and distributors. • Haifa ”COLD SMOKED SALMON” 8 OZ., LOT # 219 and “COLD SMOKED SEABASS” 8 OZ., LOT # 212 are vacuum packaged on a paper board with flexible plastic. • Haifa Smoked Fish, Inc. of Jaimica, NY, has recalled smoked salmon and sea bass over concerns of listeria contamination.
