If you have some yard work to take care of this weekend and you’re in the Portland area, you might want to get it done on Saturday.

Saturday’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high around 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Overnight, the clouds move in and rain is likely starting around 5 a.m. Sunday morning. The chance of rain, mainly before 9 a.m., is 80% with 1/4-1/2 inch of precipitation expected. A 50% chance of rain remains through the afternoon, and the high temperature is expected to be around 69 degrees.

Sunny skies will be back on Monday with a high in the mid-70s. The rest the workweek is expected to remain sunny with highs in the 70s and 80s.
