MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (WKBN) - The Cleveland Guardians selected outfield prospect Petey Halpin to the Major League roster from Triple-A Columbus on Saturday.

In a corresponding roster move, the team has placed outfielder Nolan Jones on the 10-day injured list with a strained oblique. This season, Jones is batting .211 with 5 home runs and 34 RBIs.

Halpin has spent the entire 2025 season at Triple-A Columbus. He has posted a .249 batting average, 14 home runs, 29 doubles, 5 triples, 44 RBIs, with 15 stolen bases.

Halpin was originally selected by Cleveland in the third round of the 2020 MLB Draft out of St. Francis High School in Mountain View, California.
