GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 53-year-old woman was found dead Friday afternoon in a Greensboro hotel room , and police are investigating the case as a homicide.

Officers responded at about 1:11 p.m. Friday to a cardiac call at the Budget Inn in the 500 block of Farragut Street, where they found Demetria Ann Perry, police said.

Her next of kin have been notified. The cause of death has not been released, and detectives said they do not have suspect information to share at this time.
