GREENSBORO, N.C. — A person was injured in a shooting on West Florida Street in Greensboro on Friday evening.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers were called to the 800 block of West Florida Street at approximately 5:47 p.m. on Friday. When they arrived on scene, officers located a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say there is no suspect information available at this time.
