CLEVELAND, Ohio — Comedian and TV actor Steve Martin, 80, has cancelled two comedy appearances after testing positive for COVID-19, according to his website.

The announcement was made Friday night on Steve Martin’s website and social media pages . Martin’s tour with Martin Short — who co-stars with Martin in TV’s “Only Murders in the Building” — is scheduled to swing into the Akron Civic Theatre on Nov. 20.

Martin’s website announced Friday: “Steve Martin and Martin Short’s shows at The Dome (9/19) in Virginia Beach, VA and Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront (9/20) in Richmond, VA will be canceled.
